The sound of a metal butterfly screw on my stative. Recorded with pc microphone and lots of background noise. -- sample processed with noise reduction in audacity.
Water rolling down a creek, over rocks and around a fallen tree, in stereo, with the water sounds moving from one ear to the other ear. We got in the van and drove down a rural road in arkansas, united states. On the side of that road, we found whittington creek. We continued and found where this creek enters a man-made underground tunnel in the city of hot springs. This sound is used in the beginning of a 7-minute video of our adventure:http://elingreso. Beethoven bird - self-explanatory. Three chirps: at beginning of recording, at -14 seconds and -4 seconds. Recorded with tascam dr-40 and reprocessed to remove background noise. If anyone knows the species for this distinctive call, please post.
This is a sum of two units, a digital reverb ams rmx16 and spring reverb fisher k10 with gate, this was an experiment i wanted to do and by the way, it worked well.
I recorded myself winding up an old wall-clock in my living room to use in a song. I used the built-in microphone in an ipad, re-recorded to cubase, added a bit of compression, a gate, and a limiter. It's a stereo file, but the sound is mono.
This is an ambient recording of the main spring that feeds lake atalanta in rogers, arkansas. The recording was made using a zoom h5n recorder with a stereo mic capsule held approximately 9 inches from the surface of the stream a little further away from the spring source.

Spring. Wav and spring2. Wav were recorded on the same evening in may during a long rain. The two recordings are similar but still very different. I've never heard so many frogs/peepers so deafeningly loud, persistent and oblivious to humans. I tried to record where the water was running but the animals drowned out the sound of the water. Beautiful sounds.
